Congratulations on getting below £1000 on the Virgin CC. The daily payments to the Hastings loan are adding up nicely.

I love this. I think the debt issue actually forces a revaluation on how we live, what we have in our lives and what we actually value. So the debt is the trigger for learning so much about ourselves and whilst it can be a costly lesson it makes us take huge steps in personal growth. Keep going  V x
  • Just read your diary from the start, you’re doing so well. I was a fan of overpaying my Hastings loan as often as I could, very satisfying to see the balance coming down daily.

One thought re your food spends, do you have any Olio volunteers near you? If you’ve not heard of it, Olio is an app designed to stop food waste and is free to use.  Volunteers collect from supermarkets (Tesco being one of the biggest customers) and then list the food on the app which you can request and collect from the volunteer.  Sometimes collections aren't very exciting but there’s nearly always bread and bakery items. Last night I also collected cookies and donuts along with some fruit and veg.
