Just had a new one delivered, and had to move it out to have a look at something. Now it's impossible to get back! Tried a "tip" I saw on YT about putting card under the front feet but it changes NOTHING! I think I'm going to have to call someone out to do it for me!

If your kitchen is narrow enough sit on the floor with your back to the wall and push with your feet

Spray the lino behind it with windolene type window cleaner. Not much just a few puffs. It lubricates the lino and will evaporate off after a while
  • 1. If you have some spare carpet, cut little sections for each foot of the washing machine, then slide upside down under each foot.  Should slide more easily
    2. Depending on your flooring, a little bit of water under each foot should reduce friction a bit

I don't think I've got any. But now one of the feet is sticking through a hole. I can't see the other foot.

I've done it! I managed to do it by walking it one side at a time. I don't think I could have sprayed the back feet as there no space to get to both as I'd already got it partly under, and it's in a corner. Thanks for the assistance..

It's a really awkward space though. As I say it's in a corner, and there's only a few cm between the top of the machine and the bottom of the work surface. When they installed it I didn't watch to see how they did it, I was in  another room. There were two  of them though, TBH I had second thoughts after I'd booked an installation, as it seemed fairly easy to DIY it. Now I'm glad I did as moving these things is a trial.

Also there's a post holding the worktop up on the wall side, which obstructed my access to push the machine from that side.

Probably no good now you have a hole in your lino, but we fitted these under our fridge.
