APCOA Parking at South Eastern Train Station on New Years Day

I am waiting for a response from APCOA who manage the car park, but they are currently running on 5 "working days" for a response.......
I thought I would go to Maidstone on New Years Day, I decided to check the parking charge for the station car part and saw that on Public Holidays it was £3.50. I checked on the App from home and noted that it was saying £6.90 which is the normal charge. I went to APCOA website clicked on Live Chat but this was not available so I submitted a question, which is what I am awaiting a response for.
When I arrived I checked the app (again) and it was still showing as £6.90. So that I was not in breach of any parking rules, I paid and went on my way, knowing that I had an open enquiry with them.
I did check out of interest a couple of other Kent stations and they were all showing normal weekday pricing.........
I did today contact APCOA on live chat, the agent just said I should wait for the response, "it is 5 working days and with New Years Day being a Public Holiday and Saturday and Sunday there will be a delay........"
My thinking is that APCOA has basically over charged everybody who has paid on New Years Day, and should be doing a refund of those overpayments.........

Sorry for the delay in coming back - I have just been on live chat with Apcoa again as I've had no response to my inittial enquiry on 01/01/2025. The agent today advised I submit my question to : csc.refunds@apcoa.com
I have done this with explanation and my receipt, I have also expressed my surprise that no-one their end has realised the mistake and issued some comms to motorists that had parked on New Years Day and offered refunds to the correct, advertised rate.
