Wouldn't the use of multiple phones be against the rules?
Having done these competitions for 5+ years now, it definitely used to be against the rules. You could enter from only ONE valid UK number, and you also couldn't enter on behalf of someone else/a group/syndicate (the latter is still the case).

However, since the rules have changed, I'm having a hard time finding such rule again. The only thing I can find, which is in General Terms and Conditons here is:

4.11 Multiple Entries. Unless otherwise permitted pursuant to the applicable Specific Terms or unless it is an Online Giveaway Competition, no person may enter any Competition more than once and persons may not enter or participate as part of a syndicate or on behalf of any other person, syndicate, group, society or company. If we suspect that an individual has set up a fake email address and/or social media page to circumvent this rule, we reserve the right to disqualify all entries that we reasonably believe were generated by that individual.

    ---

However, considering it states "Entrants can make up to 150 phone calls across the Competition in total" (here, under Item 6), perhaps that's what it means? It is only up to 150 free entries per person? Thus getting multiple other phones to enter (getting you more than these 150 free entries) will result in disqualification? The fact it doesn't state this clearly and concisely is a little surprising.

It would be good if someone else could clarify this, though.

    Best wishes.

    It is against the rules.

"PHONE: Entrants can make up to 150 phone calls across the Competition in total to 0330...." so that is per entrant not per phone number.

    Also

"Entrants must enter using a valid UK mobile number. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits any person to enter any competition repeatedly, or make multiple simultaneous entries, is prohibited." A second phone is such a mechanical means.

But the clearest answer is here.

"Can I enter with more than one mobile number?
As per our Terms & Conditions, there will be an entry limit – per entrant – for each Competition. If you are found to be entering more than the entry limit on multiple devices, you may be found to be in breach of the Terms & Conditions and could be disqualified.
Entry limits will vary per Competition, so please make sure to check the specific Terms & Conditions for each Competition before entering."

Thank you for helping clarify @gdmoney :-)

@marialionza -- I would assume that so long as you're not using all three numbers to enter the same competitions simultaneously, then there's no issue. If you had 3 phones and entered all of them in this week, for example, that's disqualification. So if you had an old phone only enter last week, and a new phone only enter this week that's fine - you are still only getting the single batch of up to 150 entries.

    Best wishes all.

gdmoney I have a vodafone PAYG SIM, if I send a text it usually gives me free calls and texts for the day so I usually send a text and wait for the notification. Then do calls after that. Took a while to make that many calls though.

That's not a problem as long as you don't exceed the 150 calls per entrant limit.

I have to say that the rule about only one telephone number might be that you can do your calls only from one number daily and not from two different numbers daily. They have to think that people change telephone numbers, it is part of flipping life.

I have had the same mobile number since I got my first mobile over 20 years ago - but I agree they do not limit you to only ever having one number it's about not using multiple numbers to exceed the entry limit

I wonder if it makes any difference if you use a different number to the one you registered with on the Win Happy website.
