If you want to make the call without having to wait and physically press 1, create a contact with 15 commas then a 1 after the number you are dialling. On my Galaxy S24, each comma inserts a 3 second delay and then will press 1 after 45 seconds. On my phone, the tone where you need to press 1 comes after 43 seconds, so the 1 is pressed at 45 seconds to end the call. Different phones may give different results so you may have to play around a bit. On my Galaxy phone, when I am creating a number on a contact I can press the *+# key which changes the input layout and the pause(,) button is on the second row. Once the call has finished after getting the "thanks, you have been entered into the competition etc.", I can then go into my recent calls and swipe right to call again and it will use the same number including the commas.

This is GENIUS! Thank you! πŸ™‚πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€žπŸ€žπŸ€ž

First time of entering these for ages that is brilliant thanks it works on my Honor magic 7 pro with the comma there on the keypad when adding contact so no need to change input layout. For my partner though on iphone he had to press the +*# key and then the pause button gave him the comma if anyone is struggling with iphone.

I'm trying to enter, but I keep getting a message along the lines of "you cannily enter from the telephone number you are dialling from, please hang up and re-dial" I've entered the other ones OK before, is anyone else having the same issues, or they just out to get me? :D

I have had this occasionally .
The 'shortcut' method works intermittently and on occasionsΒ  when I press 1 it gets ignored and I have to redial.
If it happens more than a couple of times I leave it for 10 minutes or so.

There's an extra bit hidden in the Ts and Cs that I haven't seen before - an extra comp:

The following only applies for the round of this competition drawn at 5pm on Friday 25 April 2025 and is applicable to anyone who enters between 2pm and 3pm on Thursday 24 April 2025:Β

Anyone who enters the Competition during the specified times will qualify for an additional draw. Each entrant will receive one entry into the additional draw, regardless of how many times they enter.Β

Five winners will each receive a Β£1,000 Tesco e-gift card plus a Β£1,000 e-gift card for one of the following Tesco Clubcard Rewards Partners: Pizza Express, hotels.com, SpaSeekers, Merlin, or easyJet Holidays.Β

5 winners will be selected at random after 5pm on Friday 25 April 2025Β

Each entrant is only eligible to win onceΒ

All entrants must have a registered email addressΒ

Prize includes 1x Β£1,000 e-gift card for listed vendors and 1x Β£1,000 e-gift card for TescoΒ

Would winning this Β£1000 gift card make you ineligible for participating for 6 months?

"Would winning this Β£1000 gift card make you ineligible for participating for 6 months?"

Prize is Β£500 or more so it should rule out all Bauer comps for 6 months (unless specific competition T&Cs still allow an entry)

Regarding creating the contact and adding the commas. How do you do it on an iPhone please?Β
When adding the number there is no alphabetical keypad, so there are no commas - or am I missing something here?Β

    Thanks.Β
