I am so sorry people missed it yesterday!
I did have the inkling to write it down in big capital letters but then I thought I am the only one who is ALWAYS spaced out and misses out!
Next time, I PROMISE, if I have a doubt that any of us might accidentally overlook the change I will highlight it.
I should have...(bet you next time I'll be the one missing it)
    BEST OF LUCK !
And a lovely Easter Hols everyone!
Thanks to those who help us to win !

There's an extra bit hidden in the Ts and Cs that I haven't seen before - an extra comp:

The following only applies for the round of this competition drawn at 5pm on Friday 25 April 2025 and is applicable to anyone who enters between 2pm and 3pm on Thursday 24 April 2025:

Anyone who enters the Competition during the specified times will qualify for an additional draw. Each entrant will receive one entry into the additional draw, regardless of how many times they enter.

Five winners will each receive a £1,000 Tesco e-gift card plus a £1,000 e-gift card for one of the following Tesco Clubcard Rewards Partners: Pizza Express, hotels.com, SpaSeekers, Merlin, or easyJet Holidays.

5 winners will be selected at random after 5pm on Friday 25 April 2025

Each entrant is only eligible to win once

All entrants must have a registered email address

Prize includes 1x £1,000 e-gift card for listed vendors and 1x £1,000 e-gift card for Tesco

The additional prizes are much appreciated, particularly because the odds on winning the main prize must be miniscule.
However it means that I will have to keep something of an eye on how many times I have entered (normally I just keep going untilI am told that I have reached the limit, with no real system) or do them all from 2pm Thursday, when it is almost guaranteed that the phone lines will go down.

Does anybody know an app / tool that will count the entries / calls to a number? I can count them but it is not exactly accurate, scrolling through page after page of identical numbers and whilst also keeping a look out for any that didn't go through.

I finished all mine on Weds. I think because they’ve changed the phone numbers, the press 1 or 2 thing is just a blip, which I’m sure they will iron out.

Does anyone know if there’s going to be another new competition next week. As this is the last week for this one?

    Thanks.

    E: 17/04 5pm - EASTER CASH COUNTDOWN - WIN £525,000 (Up to 200 free telephone entries)

Am I the only one who missed out, was t expecting it to end on a Thursday.
Thank you. I didn’t realise that either. I didn’t miss out, cos I’d done all my entries, and thankfully, I know I had my phone nearby at that time yesterday. But I’m grateful to know not to worry about where my phone is at 5 today. Sorry you missed out. Am not sure if I am going to keep going with this bloddy comp! It’s driving me mad.

Edit: yeah, I have decided. I am giving up on this now, for the time being at least. Good luck guys.

Why not just enter once? The odds of any individual winning is almost (but not quite) zero regardless of how many times you enter, but with just one entry you still have hope! If you don't enter at all, you have no chance of winning and therefore no hope.

Kind thought, but, nah. I'm an all or nothing dude. Also, part of the pain is having to remember to keep my phone handy. I hate the thought of them phoning and I miss the call. But I do appreciate your suggestion and it makes sense, just not for me - best wishes. Hope you win 🌞

If you want to make the call without having to wait and physically press 1, create a contact with 15 commas then a 1 after the number you are dialling. On my Galaxy S24, each comma inserts a 3 second delay and then will press 1 after 45 seconds. On my phone, the tone where you need to press 1 comes after 43 seconds, so the 1 is pressed at 45 seconds to end the call. Different phones may give different results so you may have to play around a bit. On my Galaxy phone, when I am creating a number on a contact I can press the *+# key which changes the input layout and the pause(,) button is on the second row. Once the call has finished after getting the "thanks, you have been entered into the competition etc.", I can then go into my recent calls and swipe right to call again and it will use the same number including the commas.
    .
    Thanks - it works brilliantly.

WOW! It took me a while to follow what you said, but I worked it out by copying the end bit, where you'd posted what to type and where to type it. Tested it, and got 'thanks, you have entered the competition'! Thank you so much - and for your fabulous signature too 🤣🤣🤣 Ya wee genius 🌞
