Brussels flight delay 08/24

Hi,

We had a flight end of August 2024 with Lufthansa from LHR to Munich with 1 stop in Brussels. The first flight was Brussels Airline. There was a 3 hour delay between taking off and landing in Brussels with no compensation given (just told to 'keep receipts') 

Contacted Lufthansa and after 4 months was told 'we've forwarded this on the Brussels Airline' and washed their hands of it. Called Brussels Airline to be told no record of the case and to fill out an online form.

What is our likelihood of receiving any compensation and are we doing everything right here?

Was your arrival in Munich delayed, and if so, by how much?  What was given as the reason for the delay?

Claims under the UK/EU flight delay/cancellation regulations need to be made with the operating air carrier rather than the ticket vendor, but it does become more complex when multiple flights on different airlines are involved....
