On Sky broadband, after they apply there annual price increase in April that you can leave them without paying a penalty? Is that correct?
I've seen a few websites mention it.

Doubt it if the rise is in the terms and conditions as it usually is for broadband. Its usually the TV side when they make a price change which is not in the T&C's that you can leave.0

The article says if 'you're out of contact' several times. Are you out of contract?0

As it says MAY.
If they are only increasing the service you have by the amount in the T&C's then you can't. If it is a change that is more than the contract allows then you can.
Linking to old threads about a specific change at a specific point in time does not mean it always applies.
You will need to wait and see what they do. You MAY get the opportunity, you may not.
Usually you get a letter with the change telling you if you can cancel without penalty.0 -
Sky Broadband is probably the last bastion now of the "here's an increase, if you don't like it you can leave within 30 days" thing, at the budget end of the market anyway.Everybody else budget wise has "your price will increase by £3 per month every April, like or or lump it" in the T&CsSky TV has a price increase clause in its T&Cs, so you've never been able to use that argument to leave it early.0
