Help to Buy ISAs: best rates and deadlines - MoneySavingExpert
Article lists several options still available where you can open an HTB isa and transfer your existing HTB isa in.
HSBC, Halifax, BoS and Lloyds are listed.
I did see somewhere Yorkshire BS would allow you to transfer in - and paid a good rate - but this could only be done via a branch visit. No longer sure if that is available though.
If they have exceeded the £12k (£3k max bonus) limit they would be better off investing in another cash isa paying a better rate - as they are no longer on general sale HTB isa rates tend to be poor compare to general isa rates. Or of course a lifetime isa - which offers more flexibility as the property value limit outside London is £450k not £250k. Much easier to mix and match now since the changes which came in last April.
Hope this helps.1 -
Unsure about H2B-H2B transfers, but I do know that H2B ISAs are treated as normal cash ISAs and can be transferred into another cash ISA with minimal issues if you decide to go down that route.1
