Today I am grateful for sunshine, for my sewing machine, for bumping into a couple of neighbours, for reduced items in liddle, for messages with friends.

Nsd#2 for me today. Took the kids for a windy walk at a local place I hadn’t been before. It was really good. Had an eco-friendly park area to play in and we had a good walk. Hopefully wore them out a bit. It was very cold though and after a couple of hours we were very grateful to get back in the car and put heated seats on. Didn’t buy a coffee even when we got cold. Made hot chocolate when we got home.Grateful for bright but cold days today. Grateful for local public places to go for free.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #828

Meant to post yesterday, the 2nd…
No NSD today - bought hot drinks at a very cold football match for myself, OH, and OH’s dad.Grateful today for stunning scenery heading home from the caravan (between the Scottish Borders and Glasgow), for dinner at my outlaws, for heated car seats, and for getting back to our warm home and into my own bed… which currently has the electric blanket on!NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7 -
Good morning folks ⛅
Yesterday started off slow - not waking until late morning. Got myself out to the gym for some gentle exercise and remembered my mindfulness last thing before bed.
I have been chipping away at my credit card debts and paid a chunk off this morning bringing my DFD forward to October this year!!! I am so excited that there is an end in sight. This doesn't include my mortgage but that can be the next target to start overpaying on. Plans today: run more of my food stores down, and cook up a chilli for the next few days. The weather has cleared so will go for a walk too.
Today I am grateful for:
1) My mobility - even it is reduced right now
2) Lots of food in my stores to keep me going
3) My car and the freedom it brings meToday = NSD number 02 (Treated myself to Wicked novel and film 🧹)
Have a lovely day everyone!!!
PS: Thanks for the link Apple x

Hi Grateful for lovely sunshine today, will only get out in it tonight though - as I need to do some desk work today to prepare for going back to work on Monday. I have counted yesterday and today as NSD, even though I bought diesel yesterday and a train ticket today - for a planned day out. Is that right? Or do I have to cancel them as NSD days? I am planning on doing my weekly shop tomorrow evening, so it won't take my precious time off on Sunday?
Grateful for a mostly pleasant holiday, and am just about ready to get back to work next week. Looking forwards to a day out tomorrow.

Hello turtles, hope you are all keeping well! Not much to report here, have been working yesterday and I am working today, savouring the last few hours of everyone being on holiday, so zero meetings and proper time to complete my tasks without stressing. I am not ready at all to start the grinder on Monday again, which is something I really have to work on, or think about. This week marks 8 years at this company, and I'm on my second role there, having been in this role for almost 4 years now. Maybe it is time to start planning for something else, even if it will take a while to feel safe doing that.
Yesterday evening we went to the Swedish store, as DS really wanted to have the meatballs there, and I had a couple of small things I needed to get, mainly a rug for the kitchen and one for the bathroom, which were falling apart after years of valorous service, a collapsible washing bowl which I use a lot for different purposes and that was destroyed by the builders who came with barely any equipment, and same for the small portable brush. I treated myself to 2 glass tealight holders. I took good advantage of the sale, both rugs and also the candle holders were part of it, so I actually spent more paying for the dinner than what we bought, which was good. So no NSD yesterday. Tonight we are taking DS to London, as we promised to bring him to our favourite restaurant, and he's leaving on Sunday morning, so no NSD today either.
Yesterday after we came home, I finished knitting the first mitten and casted on the second one, which I really need to finish by tomorrow evening, so I might bring it with me tonight to knit on the train.
Today I am grateful for good, although crispy cold, weather, for spending great time all together as a family, and for a chance to dress up a bit tonight, which doesn't happen as often as in the past.
