10/20 and only one of the 3 days I had a drink involved wine. I've found something I like to pop in a wine glass and drink at the end of each day whilst chatting to DP. It seems just enough to feel special and a treat but it is AF. (Its a grass and co drink called relax that I've been mixing with tart cherry juice, serving with ice and a sprig of mint and yesterday I thought I might look for some swizzle sticks to add, whilst expensive this is so much cheaper than the wine I was drinking and it looks and feels like a celebration of the day).Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

14 for me today please cathybird. It has been relentlessly, oppressively hot here since the middle of last week and it peaked over Friday and Saturday; something about the really fierce, dry heat always makes me crave a cold beer a lot more than it should do but ultimately I didn’t succumb.5

Invisible basketball? Hailing a taxi? Making a big stir-fry? Running up an icy slope? Or the best one - the breast stroke in the middle of the floor... Surely not!Jellybaby said:@RobM99 scary to think only three or four months ago I may have been classed a dodgy dancer 😂😂 (of course that was me drunk dancing and in my head I’m now I’m a graceful swan but who knows! 😎🤣).
13 for me please.
Anyway 14 please. I think I made an "oops" in my calculations - it's now 483 days since any alc', not 500+ I previously believed! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!6 -
11 for me today please cathybird

Changes I will be making...- Buying half bottles of wine. I've noticed if I open a bottle, I drink it over a few days because I don't want to waste it...so drinking when I don't really want to...I can keep full bottles for when guests are here
- Making my own ginger beer and lime that I can top up with fizzy water as a treat drink as I can't seem to find any AF drinks I like that are not high in sugar
- Adding bottles of Pelly water to my wine rack
