Another day down until the weekend! Not a lot to really report on, ebay and vinted sales have been good ive made over £150 in 3 days!

Declutter wise I havent done anything for a few days but going to maybe have a look later on after work. All washing is still up to date and the house is overall clean and tidy

Morning! Sorry ive been away i just keep forgetting to update my diary! Is it too early to mention the C word?!

I plan on meeting a friend after work today to pop into home bargains and to grab a coffee in the cafe there and also pop into b&m! I want to make a start on my Christmas food box.. anyone else do this? I only started it last year but started quite late. I'll explain for those who have no clue what im talking about 😀 basically you get a box cardboard or plastic either works and then you start grabbing some of your Christmas goodies and put them away for Christmas. Im going ti be focusing on jars/tins later today, ill check the dates etc and put them into said box and hide them away until December 1st. This way you're not having to big one big food shop nearer Christmas!

Ooh that brought back memories of my Mum doing this when I was a child, great idea. Not tried it myself but have made a start on buying some gifts this last week for the festive period (struggle to say the C word in June 😂)

Morning all!

Not much to post as ive been very unproductive.. i NEED to get back onto sorting my debts out etc.

First things first.. my job currently! I've been asked would I be interested in a "Duty Manager" roll when it gets approved from higher up, as our recent one left. Im stuck as ive always wanted to be Ops but a few years ago the company got rid of ops roles and replaced it with Duty Manager rolls, its a 5K pay rise for me and after tax its roughly £350ish extra a month. Im not sure why im so hesitant to say yes but ive asked the manager to come back to me once its approved and we can have a proper sit down chat about it!

Secondly.. my debts! I neee to sit down and check how much i have left on my loan. OH only has 2k left under my name to pay off which should be cleared by the end of the year! I'm going to look at what CCs I have open and close whatever I no longer use.

I don’t think a 5k pay rise would equate to £350 a month after tax NI and any pension or student loans if you have them. Worth looking at that properly to decide whether the increase in pay is worth whatever additional work or responsibility comes with it. Maybe that’s why your gut is disagreeing with you 😂

I dont have a student loan, what does it work out at off the top of your head? Only because I had a quick look and some how came back at £350?

after basic rate tax, NI and pension contributions at 3% you’d be looking at 285 ish. If pension contributions are higher that would change too.

I just rechecked after you said and I hadn't accounted for Pension going in so yes youre correct! Thank you for setting me straight on that 😄
