I haven't! Where would I find one because I definitely owe him one!!!!!
  • Most Catholic Churches though my local post office has a collection box for superstitious heathens like me.  I was always told that you should donate the price of a loaf as thanks.

I shall ask my friend who is more religious than I am if there's one at her church. He can have several loaves out of the coin jar!

I hope the car isn’t an expensive fix.

Vinted has slowed down for me too. One small sale today. I think it’s a combination of Christmas spending kicking in and not wanting to have to go out in the cold to collect parcels.  Hopefully it will pick up again when people get paid at the end of the month and the roads thaw.

I really like your diary title.  It's an expression I use and last night the film was on tv and the line was delivered so brilliantly by Donald Sutherland.
you are doing well - never underestimate progress - the fact that you've got an emergency fund is brilliant.

Will do a proper update in a bit as I need to do some exercise after I ate a gluttony of biscuits today at work but hopped on to say @Nintud I made a Vinted sale!!!! Wooohooo!!! 1st one in ages!!!

@Blackcats ah yes it's one of my all time favourites and I did catch it last night on the TV! It's quite old now (I would say a classic though) that I wondered if anyone would make the connection with the title!!!! "There's a beautiful bridge......" amd "positive waves" are most definitely my life long mantras. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!!

"Drinking some wine and eating some cheese" is another great mantra for life!

Sorry just realised that for the purpose of accuracy and mantra balance that should be "drinking some wine, eating some cheese and catching some rays".

Hahaha yes! "I can't fix them ....I can only ride them!!" When I've run out of song titles for diary entries I might switch to film quotes 😂
