Most Catholic Churches though my local post office has a collection box for superstitious heathens like me. I shall ask my friend who is more religious than I am if there's one at her church. He can have several loaves out of the coin jar!3

Hot, Hot, Hot
Not related to the weather which is most definitely COLD, but as the title suggests the car was lovely and warm today, unfortunately so was the engine coolant so the car woes continue which is really worrisome. My mate has been reassuring me that it should settle but there's a bit of a knot in the pit of my stomach about it all and all I can do tonight is wait and see how things are tomorrow.
So feeling a little despondent tonight, nothing else to report debt busting wise and whilst I've have items favourited on Vinted nothing has sold yet. Got some overtime booked in for the next few months but not much yet for the summer and autumn months (hopefully that might change as people book holidays and don't want extra hours).
To make myself feel better I looked at my start figures from oct/Nov and today's figures which was reassuring that things have stopped sliding in the wrong direction and I am starting to turn it around. The EF however will need to be restocked next pay day, possibly instead of over paying the CCs, in case of more car expenses.
Bath and early night - sleep sometimes is the best medicine.5 -
I hope the car isn’t an expensive fix.
Vinted has slowed down for me too. One small sale today. I think it’s a combination of Christmas spending kicking in and not wanting to have to go out in the cold to collect parcels. Hopefully it will pick up again when people get paid at the end of the month and the roads thaw.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. (L Ellis)2 -
I really like your diary title. It's an expression I use and last night the film was on tv and the line was delivered so brilliantly by Donald Sutherland.
you are doing well - never underestimate progress - the fact that you've got an emergency fund is brilliant.2 -
Will do a proper update in a bit as I need to do some exercise after I ate a gluttony of biscuits today at work but hopped on to say @Nintud I made a Vinted sale!!!! Wooohooo!!! 1st one in ages!!!
@Blackcats ah yes it's one of my all time favourites and I did catch it last night on the TV! It's quite old now (I would say a classic though) that I wondered if anyone would make the connection with the title!!!! "There's a beautiful bridge......" amd "positive waves" are most definitely my life long mantras. Hope you enjoyed your holiday!!1 -
"Drinking some wine and eating some cheese" is another great mantra for life!1

Sorry just realised that for the purpose of accuracy and mantra balance that should be "drinking some wine, eating some cheese and catching some rays".2
