Restaurant changes booking

Hmmmm.... in my opinion, a 15 minute window is cutting it way too fine to both get into the venue and find a decent position to stand (even if there is technically 'room' on the terrace). I'm with the OP on this one.

The OP needs to check the T&C closely to see if there is a clause in there saying that the venue / restaurant reserves the right to change the 'sitting'.As for the comment about it will be easy enough to find standing space on the terrace, I would beg to differ. Anybody trying to get into the standing area at our Premiership rugby ground would need to be there at least half an hour before kickoff. That's where the dedicated fans congregate and they wouldn't take kindly to somebody trying to push through to a decent viewing position.2

Understood, but the capacity is still there. I can't see that the restaurant can be held responsible for the quality of the view. OP couldn't be certain of a good spot in any case.TELLIT01 said:The OP needs to check the T&C closely to see if there is a clause in there saying that the venue / restaurant reserves the right to change the 'sitting'.As for the comment about it will be easy enough to find standing space on the terrace, I would beg to differ. Fundamentally it comes down to whether or not the restaurant had breached a contract we can't see. I suspect they have, but can't be sure.
