Sadly, mine isn't digital.  It is a proper cooking thermometer, but I do wonder if instead of hooking it over the side and leaving it in the pan while I heat things, I should only insert it when testing for set.

One of the trees was on the roundabout, at the start of the road leading to Larkhill, The Packway.  The other was on Countess Road (the A345) about 100m before roundabout, on the righthand side as you head towards the roundabout.  (Opposite side of the road to Woodhenge.)

Hope my directions make sense, @CapricornLass.  Last time I made Crab Apple Jelly, ? in 2020, I think I sourced them from the same tree on Countess Road.  I definitely parked in the same location that time, but I don't recall the tree being as far from the bus stop where I parked.
