I don't have anything good enough to take pictures @Gem-gem, but DD has. She's been following Wil on Face book and learning how to take good pictures. It was quite an experience, even though it was freezing cold. I was like the Michelin man because I had so many layers on to keep warm! My neck is suffering today with looking up so much, but the sky was so clear I just had to take in as much as I could...😁

@laura_lau I have only charge my torch once - when I first received it before Christmas. I have used it for many hours.

We are as prepared as we can be for the blizzard predicted by the weather watchers. I took a walking pole on my walk this afternoon, for a bit extra stability. The ducks on the village pond were busy keeping the water open round a central patch of ice. There wasn’t a breath of wind, and the light was eerie. When we got home we finished the last of the Christmas cake with a large pot of tea. 
I do find all the hot drinks create a challenge with all of the extra layers, tucked in, one set over another. Timing is essential. I do appreciate the indoor plumbing. 

The local swimming baths were closed this week because the water was not warm enough. I am looking forward to a nice warm swim next week.

I have to collect a pair of jeans today, - snow permitting-but they were bought under the counter as it were in 2024 so I'm not counting them in the 2025 tally.

Duffle coat doesn’t fit.  It’s good on the shoulders so a bigger size would swamp me.  But it has a “modern” cut so it goes in a bit at the waist
