No idea why I opened new Leeds and Chorley savers last month with such low interest rates ...

It gives you immediate access to future accounts should they release market leading rates in the future; plus you've got those accounts should they become attractive rates compared to others at a future date
I've reached a point where I write on the front of my paper file for each account EXACTLY why I opened it I am accumulating so many.

I was only away for 10 days but I had 54 pages today on the forum to read back on and catch up with!!
     - I was hoping that Monmouthshire issues would be resolved but still rumbling on ...

    This weekends entertainment
Principality 6 month saver maturity instructions
Principality 6 month saver issue 4 applications
    Monmouthshire branch saver applications
Nationwide issue 7 application if it will allow me

I've also got YBS £50 esavers maturing and Coventry sunny days this month although they wont add much to the cash flow issue - and reducing my Coventry SOs to a minimum for the time being.

Suffolk BS to launch new versions of their 1 Year Fixed Rate Regular Saver and Online Fixed Rate Regular Savers on Monday 8th September.

It doesn't appear there's any difference in the Ts&Cs compared to the current issues with the exception that the new versions mature on 30/11/26 and both accounts are set to pay 5%.

I shall update P1 of this thread and the archived thread once the accounts have been launched.
It looks like it can be open even if we hold others Regular Saver with Suffolk, isn't it? I do have already the one that will mature 31/07/26 and the one that will end on 30/09/26. Not the best interest rates but both longer than a year
Re: Suffolk BS 1 Year Fixed Rate Regular Saver and Online Fixed Rate Regular Savers

It's worth bearing in mind that along with no withdrawals allowed, closure is not permitted until maturity, either.
