Dudley BS: Do we know if these recent postal/branch RSs are visible online?Bridlington1 said:
I'd assume you should be able to. The terms of the current issue only say you can't have more than one of that particular issue, if the new RS terms follow suit you should be able to hold one of each issue. Same as Principality in that regard.francoghezzi said:
I do have the current issue, it'd be interesting to know if it will be possible to open even this oneBridlington1 said:Suffolk BS to launch new versions of their branch/post and online Fixed rate regular savers on Monday (21/7/25). These shall pay 5% fixed (up from 4.85% with the current issues) and shall have maturity dates of 30.09.2026.If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

In their FAQs:Kim_13 said:Anyone know whether a cheque should be made out to Dudley BS, my name or both? It mentioned it was possible to open by cheque in the pop up when you download the application form but I didn’t see anything to that effect.
When paying a cheque into an account, they should be made payable to the account holder's name.

The last time I opened a Reg Saver with Dudley BS I didn't send a cheque in with the application form, I waited for the account to be opened and made a FP to it on receipt of their confirmation of opening letter. They will then send a passbook once a payment's been made.Kim_13 said:Anyone know whether a cheque should be made out to Dudley BS, my name or both? Kent Reliance have a monthly draw for £1,000 - you just need to have at least £100 in savings or £1,000 in a mortgage account with them.Dadto3Boys said:

Find myself idly wondering how the odds on that compare with the odds on premium bonds.janusdesign said:

Ditto, complete news to me, no recollection of any mention from them of that over the years.ForumUser7 said:

Just rang CS and was told that it had to be funded by 17th July so no point them sending me an application form! Oh well!RosieRooBear said:Dudley Loyalty Regular Saver
Have just spoken to Customer Services at Dudley BS as I opened my account last night but funds didn’t get credited until this morning. She has confirmed that as long as the account was opened on or before 17th July whether funded or not then you are eligible for the Loyalty RS.
A bit annoying that it is branch or post but I think it’s worth applying for as it is for £500 pm.
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0
