Good morning - I've chosen to close my Aldermore 5% Regular Saver set up on 3rd January earlier this year because the rate drops to 4.75% tomorrow - whilst it says that I can close the account and the money (currently £1500) will be sent to my nominated account (Lloyds) it then states that I won't be able to log in to my account if I close it so before I do that, can I just check - will the £1500 be sent with added interest or will I just get my £1500 back?!? I think I know the answer but just thought I'd ask you kind people if anyone knows already.
Btw I've checked all the terms and conditions in the paperwork saved regarding this account but can't find the answer to this question, I've secure messaged Aldermore as well but thought MSE forumites might be quicker!
Thank you xx0 -

If you close the account, accrued interest will be paid to date of closure.2 -

Anyhow, it's all been fairly quiet on the regular saver front, not many new accounts and mainly notices of rate reductions.
Personally, I am hoping the Virgin regular saver is still around in July when my 10% version matures. Skipton is also maturing in about 2 weeks for me and of course I am hoping [Removed by Forum Team] will not block me from having a third issue 3 regular saver so going to submit maturity instruction online on the day before maturity after business hours on the 4th.
I hope you have better luck than I did. I was just messaged and very politely told no, by [Removed by Forum Team].3 -
I got my second Issue 3 Principality 6 month reg saver today, with £200 in, when my issue 1 expired0

I received a letter through the post from Principality saying my maturity instructions will be carried out on the 3rd June and funds will be sent to my nominated account. Fingerscrossed they deduct the £200 as requested and open another issue 3 regular saver with it. No messages from [Removed by Forum Team] and sincerely hope shes lost my address. If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0
