Apologies as I know it has been discussed before endlessly.
Reading up about the potential interest rates drops before the end of 2025 and thinking about the next BOE rate review on the 8th ....I am dithering whether to renew my Halifax and LLoyds regular savers again - the maturity dates are in December and February  so at least this would fix the rates into May 2026 .....

Thought I managed to make an extra payment to my Principality 6 month regular saver yesterday. It looked like it had been credited as my balance had increased, but it’s been returned this morning.

the terms does state that it has a limit of £1200, but I thought I’d test it anyway. In case anyone is wondering.
I've got away with it so far.......
I forgot to cancel my SO and my extra payment has not yet been sent back, mind you the account matures on the 7th so hardly worth it.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

I've got mine maturing  on 29 June even though  it's got the max allowance of £1200. Sooo.... if l "accidentally" deposited  another £200 on the first of June.

Aldermore RS issue 1. I didn't notice any restriction on a 13th payment  but the website isn't allowing it. Can anyone clarify please?
My Faster Payment went through to Aldermore today okay
Thanks very much. I did a manual external transfer in (Well, two, I did a test transfer first) and it worked. My account doesn't mature until towards the end of the month so worth doing!

    MONBS EXCLUSIVE RS 2
    Apologies if covered before.
T&Cs clearly state no withdrawals, but are silent on the ability to close early. Other MONBS RS have specified no withdrawals but early closure allowed.
Online, there is apparently the option to ‘Withdraw’.

Has anyone recently closed this account?
If so, did you receive expected interest?
    Thanks

Probably a good idea, LBG are likely to lower RS rates in near future.
I don't have this dilemma.  My Halifax and Club Lloyds matured and restarted in mid March, I won't gain much if I extend the maturity for an extra month and a half.  I might "refresh" my none-club Lloyds, it matures on 22nd June.  If "refreshment" doesn't work I won't be loosing very much because the rate is only 5.25%.

You can close early. Withdrawing the balance of your account on their online servicing triggers this.

Yes, accrued interest is added upon closure.
Thank you. That’s what I assumed would happen, but good to have confirmation.
