The Top Regular Savers Discussion Thread

Apologies as I know it has been discussed before endlessly.
Reading up about the potential interest rates drops before the end of 2025 and thinking about the next BOE rate review on the 8th ....I am dithering whether to renew my Halifax and LLoyds regular savers again - the maturity dates are in December and February so at least this would fix the rates into May 2026 .....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

the terms does state that it has a limit of £1200, but I thought I’d test it anyway. In case anyone is wondering.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -

As mentioned by @GalacticaActual in the main EA accounts thread. Nationwide have announced cuts to many of their savings interest rates from 1/6/25.
Of note they have announced NO CHANGE to all of their regular savers so their Flex Regular Saver (Issue 4) shall remain at 6.5% for the time being.9 -
MONBS EXCLUSIVE RS 2
Apologies if covered before.T&Cs clearly state no withdrawals, but are silent on the ability to close early. Other MONBS RS have specified no withdrawals but early closure allowed.
Online, there is apparently the option to ‘Withdraw’.Has anyone recently closed this account?
If so, did you receive expected interest?
Thanks0 -

I don't have this dilemma. My Halifax and Club Lloyds matured and restarted in mid March, I won't gain much if I extend the maturity for an extra month and a half. I might "refresh" my none-club Lloyds, it matures on 22nd June. If "refreshment" doesn't work I won't be loosing very much because the rate is only 5.25%.1 -
