The number of Principality RSs I have is getting overwhelming! It needs a separate spreadsheet!
The perfect way to make the monthly deposits - I don't use SOs - is to load one of their easy access accounts with the sum total of the RS monthly deposits on the last day of the month and from 00.01 on the first day of the month (including non banking days) transfer the RS monthly requirements to the RSs - on the website, not the app.
This works well (I think it was @schiff who suggested it to me). Up to 9 RSs now.

I wish there were an app.
So do I, as it would certainly make life a little easier ;)

I didn't realise the Co-Op set up standing orders themselves? I can't transfer money to the Co-Op Regular Saver from my Co-Op current account, I have to treat it as an external payee. And even then it doesn't save it, and I have to enter the account details each time. It's just easier to set it up from a different bank.
Yes, they do. It's the only way I can fund my Co-op Regular Saver monthly SO or manually. I have tried payment from another external current account but both times the payments were returned, so I stuck with what works.
I fund my Co-Op RS from Halifax using SO without issues.

On my second Co-Op RS and have always used a SO from BOS with no problems at all.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

Call me stupid, but how do I open another Principality account? I've logged in, all I can see are my existing 2 accounts and no means of applying for another?

logout, go to the apply button for the account application page, when you are asked if you are a new or existing customer, choose existing and then login again from that link... I did the exact same thing as you yesterday logging in first and then trying to add the new account that way!

I've already done that, and it takes me to exactly the same place.

it took me a few goes before it worked yesterday... perhaps leave it a few minutes whilst logged out and try again.

You're not stupid at all - I found the best thing to do was to go to page one of this thread, find the account you're looking for (currently the top one!) and click on it from there.

Make sure you log out, then close the browser tab/window.

The Principality application process doesn't recognise you are logged in already, hence you need to start with the 'Apply' button, then log in when prompted.

Sometimes it seems an existing session (logged in or logged out) confuses the application process. In my experience it is a bit random when/why it happens, but logging out then closing the tab/window appears to fix the issue if it happens.

I opened an RS6 as a new customer without sending ID, they were able to open mine electronically but not my wife's.

I would recommend sending a cheque though as they insist on receiving a deposit before letting you administer the account - for electronic transfer that means an awkward process of sending details in the post for the opening deposit then following up with the account paperwork after you've received that and sent a deposit.
No, it's much more sfraightforward. On receipt of my application form they phoned me with the new Melton account number. I transferred the first payment into the account and they post me the docs and details. Much quicker than a cheque.

I think "RS6" was a reference to The Melton, wasn't it?
