Loughborough
I received an email (not on the secure messaging platform for some reason) advising that they had received my opening deposit and correctly quoting the amount of that deposit. The email was from the address the application was emailed to. It said that only one payment per month was allowed, but that they would make an exception this month if the payment was a test payment.
I wasn’t aware of 1 payment per month being a maximum, only that a payment was required each month. I don’t know if it’s a restriction they have put in because I said on the application form that I would use the account monthly, but it would be a first if they have.

Never noticed this until you mentioned it. I also made a small initial deposit and was going to top it up before end of month.Guessing the Holiday monthly saver was the same,

Her reply was 'yes, in line with the terms of the account it will be funded by monthly standing order moving forwards'.I'll change those (minimum funding) standing orders to the end of the month now to give us a chance to send more mid-month if we need to.Thanks for the heads up.1 -
Thanks for bringing the Loughborough BS one payment per month restriction to my attention. The first page of this thread and the listings in the archived thread have been updated accordingly.

The one payment per month rule does not appear to apply to their Holiday Monthly Saver.or the Limited Access Monthly Saver.only the 5 Year Retirement and 1 Year Fixed Rate Monthly Savers.2 -
