Applied for West Brom RS on Monday, sending copy of driving licence as part of the application. Tuesday they emailed saying they couldn't verify me so I needed to send more information. In the list of possible documents was driving licence. So I sent exactly the same images i sent on Monday. Received email this afternoon saying all approved and account open!!!!!!!!!

Ditto(except for passport in place of driving licence).

I've tried to log on five minutes ago after creating  a PIN earlier today but its saying, "That page doesn't exist code 1011" or something  like that.

I applied for the account  yesterday noon and then received  a text and email that they were checking my ID.
Today at 10.26am, I had another email stating  that they needed  additional ID, so I resent my passport. 

Just got in, and it looks like the account  is open.
So do l apply to register for online access  or wait for WB to send me an email/letter?

I would wait until tomorrow. It seems, according to WB's CS agent, that they send the email out when the account is "almost fully" open! I got my email today and failed to open the online access after a couple of tries, but was told it should work tomorrow. You should get another email tomorrow with details of how to register for online access. 

Others on here have tried to fund it today and failed with COP, although some might have succeeded. Tomorrow should give a more certain level of success.

Online access email arrived 9.00am. Registering was straightforward and online access to see RS account happened as soon as the PIN was set up .... despite the message saying access will be available by tomorrow!

Yes, all went to plan as you quoted above. But I tried a few minutes ago to re- log in, and it's saying "page doesn't exist (code 1011)" or something  like that.

I've sent my first deposit at 3ish today, so hopefully it will all work tomorrow?

Applied for the winter ready R/S earlier in the week and this morning received an email that my uploaded ID was insufficient and more was needed. This was closely followed by another email stating that the account was now open? Usual text about ready to feed by tomorrow. I’ll give it a go but not worried if it’s b*****d up as it’s only £100 for ten months anyway. 😳

We had a similar issue  and had to reupload the passport scan for OH and then got a message to call them.
 The issue turned out to be that my OH has a birth cert with one name he has never used in his entire life  for anything else- so thats the name on his birth cert, passport and for NHS purposes. I sent the passport scan which has his original name but he opened the account in the name he has always used. After a bit of discussion the assistant had to refer to another team. Then said to send a copy of the driving license which is in the name he has always used.
Still waiting to hear back from them but if I ever get to the end of the ToDo list I might get OH to ring again later.
I funded my West Brom yesterday - set up the pin and did the transfer in - also set up the SO but had COP issues saying the details not recognised - even though I'd sent across money a few minutes before ... which I ignored.

Can anyone with the co-op reg saver say how long it takes them to open it?
I opened a current account over Christmas and applied for the RS on Monday, was surprised it didn't just appear automatically on the account page, 3 days later still nothing shows, is this how they work?

It took the Coop a couple of days with me. Works fine once it's up and running.
