@flaneurs_lobster - to clarify, I'm not disputing the Freeport address. I am saying it's weird that HEBS told @savethepandas to post in an application for the 1 Year Branch Smart Saver, if that is in fact what OP is saying.

@flaneurs_lobster - to clarify, I'm not disputing the Freeport address. I am saying it's weird that HEBS told @savethepandas to post in an application for the 1 Year Branch Smart Saver, if that is in fact what OP is saying.

Especially as FREEPOST HEBS would go to head office, which seem to be clear that the policy is to decline postal applications (though there may be a minority of members of staff who will process them.)

Sending an application form to one of the branches may be more likely to yield a result (then it is 'in branch' in a manner of speaking, but it will cost a stamp.)

That is correct, for operating the Branch Saver which went NLA in June 2023 and then became a closed issue account a few months later. 

The poster is seeking to open the branch version of the currently available 6.5% Regular Saver.

Hanley spelling mistakes - they keep sending me a message saying "code sent successfuly"  - one l.  Seems unprofessional to me and set warning bells sounding!

Hanley spelling mistakes - they keep sending me a message saying "code sent successfuly"  - one l.  Seems unprofessional to me and set warning bells sounding!

Unfortunately nowadays lots of people don’t know how to spell, and seemingly don’t know how to use spell check either. I wouldn’t read much into it tbh

savethepandas  and grateful I've made a note for withdrawals so I don't use another stamp, I was in a hurry to get branch account opened for the end of last month. This I achieved via a first class stamp and I sent the application to the branch (not sure which one now) not head office.
