I’ve opened the Lloyds RS @ 6.25% and maxed deposits each month. I’ve got another £200 available to save - can anyone suggest the next best option?
I'd need a bit more information before I can answer that. Which other regular savers have you got at present?

Thanks for getting back to me.

The only other RS is the Lloyds one. I have also maxed out my Cash LISA and Cash ISA.

I hold First Direct, Santander and Lloyds current accounts.

I wonder when Principality will launch issue 5 of their 6 month?😏🤔
Surely the Christmas 2026 RS will launch soon, before a new 6 month issue?

Edited to add@ the Xmas 2025 RS launched on 24/10/24 so might be due in a couple of weeks. It's like waiting for your bus to come along except there's no tracker app
They might do one, they might not do one though.

In 2022 they did a Christmas RS at 5%, in 2023 they didn't bother though and instead offered a Maturity Winter RS at 6.25% for maturing accounts, 2024 they did a Christmas RS at 7%.

This year I haven't the faintest idea, and most likely nor will Principality BS staff till the day of launch if it is launched.
The top brass at Principality will be holding secret meetings on this topic this week, I bet. What a thrill it must be for them deciding if they will toss a Xmas bone to us poor serfs. They'll need to get a move on if literature is to be clandestinely written and systems secretly set up for a launch before end of the month.

I believe I may have seen mention somewhere of something called the Principality Building Society 6 Month Regular Saver (Issue 4) ......
    That lasts only 6 months?

You don't say, I would have missed that one.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

Given the name that would be my best guess. You have other requirements?

You're like a Statto for regular savers (that's meant as a compliment by the way)

Since you've already got their current accounts, Santander and First Direct also have regular savers, 5% and 7% respectively, both fixed, no withdrawals.

If you don't mind opening another current account elsewhere (you don't even have to use it), there's Nationwide, Cooperative, Virgin, to name a few of the higher rate ones. (EDIT: and Zopa, if you don't mind app-only accounts)

And Principality you don't even have to have an account with them, you can just jump straight in to regular saver land.
