I gave my instructions too this morning, no dreaded email yet though 🤞. Maybe a work around if a member of staff doesn’t allow the maturity instructions to go through, is to close the R/S 4 which most of us would have already opened, give updated maturity instructions for a R/S 4, and then open a new R/S 4 manually just before the old R/S 3 matures 🤷🏼‍♀️
  • I have only just seen there is a new Principality 6 month account.

If I open now or tomorrow will my funds be credited before the end of the month or will they go in Monday?
From t&c - "if sent on a non-business day (e.g., weekend or holiday), they’ll be processed on the next business day.  However, I've made weekend deposits for many years and they always arrived on the day.  So if you open and fund tomorrow your deposit should count towards this month.

Principality payments in usually show within 2 hours regardless of weekday or weekend. I’ve often paid in on a weekend and it always goes in same day. Processed by Barclays and pretty sure they run a sweep every 2 hours to pick up the payments.
Thanks both. One opened for me and the other for my wife!

I've got 8 Princky RSs maturing in a period of one month shortly, so I may be setting the world record!

You've beaten me then, my maturities seem to've ended up a a bit more spread out.

Ah, that sounds like it might work. I've got an issue 2 maturing in a couple of week, probably should have waited for maturity instructions etc. before opening issue 4, but inevitably got too excited by the new issue and snapped it up as soon as it was available.

Got my Principality maturity stuff by post as did my wife. Both included literature about RS 4 but that was not included in the tick boxes as an option

Ditto - on the back of the letter there is a something saying exclusing maturity products for you with a QR code. If you scan this it takes you to a page offering one choice only - a 1 year regular saver at 4.85% details of which are also in the literature sent. My first RS3 doesn't mature until the 14th September so I can't see it online yet.

I've got a Coventry Sunny Day Saver maturing on the 6th and a Yorkshire Loyalty Saver maturing on the 10th. I haven't received any instructions or messages about maturity instructions. Has anyone else that have these maturing soon, received anything? My post doesn't seem to be getting delivered again regularly.
Coventry SDS - balance will be automatically transferred to EAS (7) paying 2.5%.
    YSB LRS - balance
will be transferred to an easy access online account.  I guess it will be EAS issue 3 paying 4%. Or they might offer you EAS Reward paying 4.15%.

    So...
I opened issue 3 mid Aug
Can I open issue 4 then as well?
From reading these messages, seems I can?

Yes, you can hold one of each issue. I have both issues, I've also got some of their other regular savers.
