Can't remember what the exact maturity process was, but my spreadsheet shows that my Co-op RS matured on 2nd May and I used the balance to fund my other regular savers the same day.TheBanker said:Can anyone tell me what happens when the Co-op regular saver matures? My first deposit was 1 August so I think it matures tomorrow. Is the money available straight away or is it one of those odd ones where it vanishes for a couple of days then comes back?1 -
It turns into a Smart Saver and you can withdraw funds from there straight away.TheBanker said:Can anyone tell me what happens when the Co-op regular saver matures? Mine matured a couple of days ago, 29th. Yesterday it converted to the simple saver with interest added.TheBanker said:Can anyone tell me what happens when the Co-op regular saver matures? Wonder when the Virgin Regular Saver will convert0

Co-op Regular Saver
Thanks everyone. It's already matured this morning so I've withdrawn the balance (as I need it). Interestingly, the mobile app transaction listing has a line for credit interest, but the amount is blank. Interest has clearly been credited though as the balance has increased compared to yesterday. I am sure they will catch up at some point. I'll leave the Smart Saver open until the figure appears, as I need it for my tax return spreadsheet.
My Virgin RS hasn't matured yet.
I feel rich having both of these mature today... but the money is earmarked for spending next week, then the whole cycle can start again!

My VM RS hasn't matured either, but I've emptied it today. The app kept crashing after submitting the transfer request, but I was able to do it all in one go on the website.0

I've had quite a bit of trouble with the Virgin app over the last few days. I don't use it much because I only really use Virgin for the RS and a fixed rate ISA, but I've been using the debit card a bit over the past week as they are paying 7% cashback at Morrisons. Quite annoying when it takes four or five attempts to get into the app to check my balance before I go shopping!masonic said:My VM RS hasn't matured either, but I've emptied it today. how did you do the "closing" part? just tried the chat bot and it says you have to call them, fine for mine not so good for my OH.friolento said:I emptied my Virgin Money RS yesterday, and then requested closure. As requested, the outstanding interest got paid into my non-Virgin current account, and the RS has now vanished. All done and dusted within 24 hours.0 -
How did you close it? Did you do it on the current account closing page? Many thanksfriolento said:I emptied my Virgin Money RS yesterday, and then requested closure.
