    Co-op Regular Saver

Does anyone have any experience 'refreshing' this account? How soon can it be closed and a new regular saver opened?
Mine matured Thu 27/03, new application made same day.

New account open, visible and funded Mon 31/03 so 3 working days.

Good info but I'm afraid myself and @GalacticaActual beat you to it a week ago

Additionally these cuts were a late response to the February cut to the base rate, rather than the May one. For the full list of interest rate cuts announced by Nationwide see:

My appologies as it flashed up as news for today 09/05 and not for a week ago :)
Well, I'm glad you posted it! Somehow I missed the earlier posts!  :*

Mine took 6 weeks to close but a day or two to open a new one. Complaint raised and compensation received

My FD reg saver has vanished today, matures tomorrow.
Filled out a new reg saver application, now just waiting for it to open.
Much faster process this year, so far.

My First Direct RS matured yesterday. I'd already applied for a new one the evening prior. Money arrived in my savings account late yesterday evening, so I'm now waiting for the new one to be opened. If that gets done today I'll have only shifted by 1 day, which would be a record.
Only today has the "your account is maturing" message appeared in the app (after the funds had already appeared in my savings account).
FD - ended up being a 2 day shift for me (or 3 days from application)
    So YMMV

Same here, and had no problems at all.

    HRBS Interest Rate Reductions 30/5/25:

    Currently available:
Regular Saver 30 Day Notice Account (Issue 2) from 4.6% to 4.35%. Under the current thresholds this account is now set to be removed as the rate is too low for inclusion. It shall remain on the first page until the change in interest rate comes into effect.

    NLA:
Regular Saver 30 Day Notice from 4.5% to 4.25%
