Does a GSHP make sense in a Grade 2 listed building in need of complete renovation

    Hi. I have not yet moved to the ASHP stage as spent most of my time (and money) this year on getting the roof fixed/replaced and ‘rebuilding’ the 3 chimneys. 

    My architect said it was indeed doable to get UFH etc (eg glass insulation etc) but gave me a quote for 12-15k just for getting me the approvals for that plus rebuilding a un-original side extension plus all the drawings etc 

    am mulling over how best to go down this road with less costs eg I could, using AI and other LBC applications, to have a go at doing just the flooring LBC on my own with a bits paid to cheaper architects etc. 

    Will see how things look in the new year
