In the past there used to be a 'gear' button for this, sometimes invisible, but now I cannot find it.
Or is it some restriction for new members only?

Thank you, any idea why this is the case? What if someone has second thoughts/regrets about posting something or wants to remove a post for legal or other reasons?marcia_ said:

The rationale will be because it's more disruptive to remove the original post. If there's a good reason then you can ask the moderators to remove it. This forum isn't unique in following this sort of principle.peterearl said:

Deleting posts is bad etiquette on forums. Should only be allowed by moderators.3
