Week 2 update...
Pleased to have worked towards 8 of my goals this week! I had planned an exciting wee day out during the week but DH has been unwell and I didn't want to leave him for too long so that's on the back burner for now. I'm loving reading everyone's updates and seeing how well everyone is doing

5. Walk 2025km - Walked 44.41km this week
6. Buy 25 gift cards for Christmas - M&S / Lifestyle Choices
7. Save £2025 - £7.65
12. 25 things that make me look / feel better about myself - Got my nails done

17. Watch 25 movies I've never seen before - Plane

Me neither was discussing same with a colleague. Still, at least it meets the criteria of a challenge4

25 is far too much for me, but I have come up with two ideas for 2025.
I want to make more effort in my local community (as I moved here from London almost 3 years ago now!) and join some classes and groups.
1. I want to attend 25 classes this year. They don't have to be local, if I see one I would travel into London to or further afield. I have booked two so far, but not attended yet.
2. 25 books to read. I have read two books already this month, but one was a book I read as a child and one was a short story so I will count that as one book so far.5 -
Wednesday2000 the important thing is as my DD2 would say 'you do you'. Mum is doing 5 * 5 challenges.
This weekend I watched my first B&W film "I know where I'm going", listened to my 2nd evensong (thanks to Radio 3), cooked my 2nd recipe out of my big pasta book (made tons, so that's also tomorrow and tuesday's lunches sorted!), donation to the food bank, entered my first competition and did 2 litter picks (109 items picked up in total). tomorrow we start a 3 week step challenge at work so i am hoping to get the odd 25K steps in a day ticked off. I haven't read a translation yet (busy reading a very good canadian book and have another for book club to do first). still doing my workouts, still doing my piano practice, still decluttering.

4. Pay £25 off of debts over and above any other payments - DONE!

8. Divide each room into 5 then tackle cleaning, decluttering and sorting each room 1
9. Watch 25 films 22 (watched Close - was OK, action film)
10. Say No to sugar 25 times. 2
11. Sell 25 items on Vinted or eBay. 2
15. Try 25 new programs/documentaries not normally explored. 1
17. Find 25 nice photo's for Advent. 5
21. Check in 25 times on friends and family that I dont normally keep in contact with but really mean to. 1
24. Treat myself. 1. (joined a nice friendly gym)
25. Do 25 locum shifts to boost debt repay. 1

I went to my first class this morning. It was a meditation and relaxation class. I went into a book store I haven't been into before on the way home and bought a book. That will be my second book of the year to read.

Progress is being made I am happy to say. Some things are proving a lot easier than others but I am feeling determined even though I have been procrastinating of late with getting my decluttering done. Going to try to shift a whole box of DVDs tomorrow as well as get some other bits on eBay - eBay is moving but very slowly, roll on February 1st payday as it may move the blockage.Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

Morning all,
just checking in to let you know how I am getting on. Some of my list are already feeling routine and I’m comfortable completing regularly e.g. drinking water, walking and keeping in touch with people, but others are still a bit of a challenge.
I am definitely sleeping better, and think this is a combination of a few things, which in turn seems to help my overall sense of well-being, so long may it continue!
3) Sell 25 items on Vinted - 6/25
5) Maintain regular contact with 25 people - remain on track
6) Complete 25 random acts of kindness - 2/26
7) Walk for at least 25 minutes every day - achieved so far
8) Drink at least 1 litre of water a day for 25 days each month - 15/25
9) Walk 25,000 steps in one day each month - 2/12 (twice so far in Jan)
13) Work in the garden 25 times - 1/25
15) Volunteer for 25 hours - 6/25
16) 25 Zumba sessions - 2/25
17) Say “no” 25 times to things that don’t give me joy, are not good for me, or things I don’t want to do - 2/25
19) 25 minutes of ‘pamper time’ every week - 1/52
22) Eat 5 portions of fruit & veg a day, 25 times each month - 13/25
23) Switch off tablets at least 25 minutes before sleep every night - achieved so far
