Gosh yes week 45 already @thechubbyunicorn @IrishRose12 as flylady so wisely says, you are never behind, just jump in where you are. if you did want to read though and a challenge still manageable what about reading 25 poems?
For me, still chugging along. Watched The War Game for this week's b&w film - very disturbing. Another run today with a colleague round about the hospital, another recipe from the big pasta book which had been sitting on my shelf not looked at since it was bought covid days, 2 more evensongs from Radio 3 (beautiful) and another donation to the food bank. Which takes me to 443 / 500. A friend is over from Singapore and I will be attending her special lecture. Yep, that's what I've started to do thankfully. I've given up one of my 3 jobs, and had no regret about the decision. After doing ot for almost 15 years, when I told them that I had to give it up for my health, I didn't even get as much as a Thank you for all those years (and money spent) on it too.tinkerbelluk said:Sounds like you totally need to be focusing on you @IrishRose12 and cutting back on the non essentials to get back to full strength 💕
So I left it at that, walked away and haven't looked back. I feel so much better for it, not as stressed and enjoying some extra free time to myself. I'm also starting to sleep a bit better too, so, so here's hoping.

Week 47 update...
The worst week by far regarding this challenge! So much going on and I haven't been updating my spreadsheet as much as I usually do so maybe there's other things I've done that I have forgotten about...

forgot to update last week as was headed off to see DD1 who now lives in the Netherlands, but here's week 47 update. While there I finished Blindness (absolutely brilliant, see there is a sequel) and read a translation of a Dutch Children's classic The Letter for the Kind so that's the translated books coming on nicely. Placed reservation for sequel to 'The Letter for the King' and picked that up today so that was my 23rd trip to the library. Also tasted 2 malt whiskies at the airport :-) I have counted visits to DD1 and DD2 over last week (DD2 lives very close to the airport so stayed over) as calls to the children. And tonight i listened to the first Reith Lecture.
