Anyone recommend a cottage for two actually sited on the edge of a lake in the Lake District?

Quick Google search found this, hoseasons will have lakeside (ish) cabins, but I'd imagine you'd be paying a premium for any private lakeside cottage

Here's a few adjacent to Brotherswater....Strawb is right however- you generally pay a bit of a premium for a lakeside location. If camping/motor homing is your bag there's a campsite right on the shores of Ullswater (just outside Pooley Bridge, off the Howtown road).
