Boxing Day "Sales"

What goes through peoples mind when they decide to "pop" out to go to the sales. Drove past Cheshire Oaks twice today - once at ~ 10:30am and again at 14:30pm - both times the queue to get in is horrendous,backing up onto the M56 and causing traffic chaos. Why do people bother or do they really have nothing better to do…
