Parking Notice Received

Hey all, new on here and read links etc on parking notices, but still find all this confusing! Apologies in advance if this has been repeated numerous times. I visited Bongo's Bingo Liverpool 14th Dec 2024, parked in their privately owned car park ftom 6.26pm until 11.18pm. I placed in registration details when leaving, and fee requested onscreenwas £2. This then doubelled to £4 when I went to pay. Touched the screen again incase of error with machine and said machine stated "required payment £4. Paid the £4, bank accounted debited. Received parking ticket demanding £100 reduced to £60 if paid in 14days. Stated reason was overstayer. Not disputing parking there, but paid what I was asked by this company's equipment, which recognised my vehicle recorded by their eye in the sky! Provided proof of ticket and payment from bank with appeal. Rejected!! Brewerygate state I parked in excess of 2hrs, but I paid what was requested after inputting registration details. Do I have a reasonable argument? Any help appreciated.

Did you put in the correct VRM? What did the signs say about paying, was it pay on entry or pay on exit? Have you complained to Bongo Bingo? What was their reaction?3

Certainly do not try the IAS. Ignore them.
No paying.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
