I removed a lot of the software and its speeded it up! However, im cofused what this Dell support centre thing is? Do i actually need any of this Dell software on the Laptop? what does it do? Damn, i wish i opted for the TrueLife screen, i forgot how laptop screens look!! :rolleyes: oh well, its still good enough for me esp the price!! :beer:0

I took mcaffe off as well and put avg on, which dell one can you take off as one is for the touchpad & wirelss card I think! I also took AOL off.
Does it only have 1 memory slot as I need 2 gb ram really!0 -
If you don't want all the rubbish that dell installs on your computer get rid of it with the Dell decrapifier tool

thanks for that, have now run the software.
on another note, i seem to be getting plagued with pop ups for 'malware' and 'is your computer running slow' etc etc. any ideas how i rid myself of this0
