question about vehicle personal contract hire (PCH)

Hi
I took out a PCH car with Volkswagen via a broker. I signed the contract 30 days ago, and received the car on Monday. On acceptance of the car I informed of some issues with the car (including a mayor fault with the driver's door) and next day the car was taken to the garage to be repaired, but I don't have any confidence that the faults will not appear again.
I don't have the contact as it was all digital. I have requested a copy of the contract but Volkswagen doesn't have it yet until the broker send confirmation of delivery in 7 days.
Do I have a right to cancel 14 days after the delivery date, rather than 14 days from the date the contract signed 30 days ago?.
Broker suggested rejecting the car, but I already signed acceptance on delivery.
Is this correct?
VW suggested to cancel the contract, but I am worried about possible charges for delivery or collection if I cancel rather that using the cooling off period.
Thank you

    Three big questions.

    1.  Is the finance definitely PCH (personal contract hire), so a lease and definitely not PCP (Personal Contract Plan) or HP (hire purchase)?  I know you have used PCH consistently in your title and post, but there are sometimes posts where the originator states one and then it turns out to be another form of agreement so the advice may be incorrect.

    2.  Did you ever visit the Dealership prior to purchase, for collection, or was this a wholly remote purchase?

    3.  What are the issues with the car?  What is the "major fault" with the door?  It is just (outside of CCR 14 days if applicable), not every fault would be grounds to reject the car.
  • Thank you for your reply to my query about PCH.
    1-Definitely personal contract hire.
2-Everything was done remotely through broker. Contract signed online, never got a copy after signing.
3- Driver's door opened while driving, this is a known fault in ID4, 300,000 vehicles were recalled worldwide in 2023 for this. I am really scared of driving it again, if I ever get it back. Mine is a new model, but from forums I have learnt if you get a car with this fault many other issues will come out.
    Thank you
