I want to buy an air fryer. But which and where!?

I have an Actifry, with a paddle inside to smash up the food. (It stirs up frozen chips alright though)It can't be a day over 10 years old, and the poor quality plastic isn't heatproof, just crumbling away. I had to make a new handle a couple of years ago as the pan part fell off when I lifted it up.However, I wouldn't be without it, as it cooks frozen oven chips quite well- they always end up black & white when I do them in the oven, and it is far less messy than a deep fryer.I was after one of the £15 ones from Aldi to replace it, but my store didn't get themI want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

I'd recommend the Ninja brand and if you buy from Lakeland you get a three year warranty included. I bought another brand from them and it went wrong after more than a year, they gave me an immediate refund and I bought a Ninja one from them.1

If you have a Costco card, then Ninja. Else just get a Tower brand from Tesco or whatever.1

Hi all,
Ive been looking at january sales for air fryers, and Debenhams has a sale on for up to 80% off!! For example: https://www.debenhams.com/product/living-and-home-9l-touch-screen-dual-basket-air-fryer-double-drawers-with-8-programs-time-sync-function-free-selection-mode-in-each-drawer_p-42fe7fa4-1d30-4fae-b3c6-28a1f311d8d0?colour=Silver
However, if I do a Google for Home and Living 9liter air fryer, they all seems to be about the same discounted price (about £80).
So is Debenhams being disindigenous saying its 80% off? If so, then I wont buy theirs on principal!0 -

Debenhams now looks like it's being used to sell poor quality goods imported using Alibaba at silly mark-ups.
They were bought by a company called Boohoo. Presumably because there's lots of tears involved with buying from them."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

It's always so many percent off what? For all sales items not just at Debs.If it was 80% off a reasonable/fair price that sells( i.e. a real discount ), assuming that is not much of a loss at the sale price rather than a loss leader, consider what the retail markup really is?In this case 400%....depending upon how you calculate 'markup'.You could then ask 400% of what? Percentages are useless unless you know the base.0

Another vote for Ninja. We have had our twin drawer one for several years now and it has given no problems.
If I was to buy again though I would look at one of the ones with 2 drawers sitting on top of each other rather than side-by-side. It would take up less space and might be more efficient with the lower drawer helping to heat the upper one.Past caring about first world problems.1 -
I think Ninja are overpriced at their rrp which is what many sites sell at. I got my AF451 in a Black Friday 23 deal at Argos when the rrp was something like £260 and paid £152 for it. Don't think I have seen it that cheap anywhere since. It was something I never wanted or needed, now the most used appliance ! A dual drawer is a must IMO.

Has a Cosori and was fine but the door mechanism smashed after a couple of months light use so it went back1
