  • Well I've sent a payment of £1,913.37 to Amex!

B*gger me I could have had some fun with that money!

I dont suppose it will clear until next week by which time my loan payment would have cleared aswell so my debt will be £11,518.67

Will then have to get on to Tesco/RBS and see if they allow overpayments! If so, sorted. If not then I'll have to look into a decent savings account!

I really hope they do take overpayments though coz I'm worried that I won't save as much as I would pay off debt! :undecided

Congratulations on becoming Amex free. :D Do you have a trustworthy friend or relative that can be counted on to make you hand over a set amount of money per month to be saved up?

That will make it more difficult. However I could loan you my sister to help out if that would be of any use to you because she is frighteningly good at getting things done. :D

Good for you, hun, you must be so proud of the way you've thrashed your debt down. (rather impressive, I have to say!) How will your lower debt figure affect your debt free date?xx

    Thanks babe. :)

I wouldn't overly say proud! Maybe when it's all gone! :rotfl:

Well it will officialy take me to Jan 2009. But thats based on paying £1,000 a month which is guranteed. Then there is the extra I'm making from MB'ing. the target was an extra £500 a month which will take it to around September! But......I'm hoping I can make a bit more than that and push it to August maybe even July! I think it's do-able.
  • Cool, £500 a month just from MBing? I wish I knew how - I'm a MBing virgin!! lol.

My DFD should be Dec 08, but my Dad has left me a little bit of money from his pension, so once that comes through I *may* use some of it to pay one of the higher apr cards off. He'd hate me using it for that, but he'd be glad it could bring me nearer to my goal. Mixed emotions *sob*.

Ah well, at least once we're debt free we can begin to live again!!xxxx

You do what you think is right though. Whatever, I'm sure he's proud of how well you're doing. :D
