Hi SS,
You won't regret the outlay for the big TV. Just before our (or should I say my LBM) we bought a 42in LCD TV. It's been a godsend.OH loves his footie, so keeps him happy.
This will probably make all you footie widows laugh and the die-hard supporters cry, he'd really been to last Wednesday's match between Man Utd v Chelsea final. we had a power cut from 5.30pm until god knows what time, we went to bed at 11.00pm, no power!! He put his DAB radio on and the batteries died, so had a quick trip to the local supermarket to get new ones, not a MSE trip, but can't come between a man and his football!! By the way, you must all forgive him, he's a West Ham supporter!!0 -

Well that's my thinking aswell mate. I'd be happy with the folding chairs with the beer holders!
But my mum will insist on it! :rolleyes:0 -
Well I've started going through all my 'crap'.
Got a few bits on ebay which I will hopefully get £50 for (that will pay for my TV stand or coffee table
) and have got more to go on. Does anyone still buy videos? :undecided
Also thrown away a couple of carrier bags of crap. Not got much in the way of junk to be honest as I'm quite a minimalist person. Tidy house tidy mind and all that but it doesn't quite work like that! :rotfl:0 -
We sold about 400 videos for £100, so they're not worth much, but if you've got lots, you might get a few quid for them.
Nice TV - I tend to watch tv on my laptop, so I'm not really into big screens, but I imagine David Tennant would look rather sexy that size!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I haven't got that many so I should make about 40p.

You might be better giving them to the local charity shop then - at least you would earn some good karma! :rotfl:
If you have any unusual or rare ones though, they might be worth a bit more.
What about doing a car boot sale and selling them for 50p each or something?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
On the subject of TVs, Im getting a HD projector (play.com are doing a free maybe electric screen worth £199) this summer. I hear you say projectors ummm, let me tell you its the future, space saver and great quality. Did you look at that at all SS?This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
