Hi,
I’m new to this but I received a smart parking fine when I’m pretty sure I paid for parking and did not over stay my visit
I saw on a previous thread that by appealing to the letter and not admitting being the driver and mentioning POPLA you can get out of being forced to pay.
I have done this but I was wondering does it really work?

I’ve just had a letter for the exact same scenario as the OP, never shopped in the area before, parked near argos and went to the nearest pay machine which was a pay by phone. I was wondering if anyone can point me to where I find the correct template for the appeal1
