EVRI say parcel was overweight

A suggestion for the future
My local Post Office and I assume many other PO accept EVRi parcels as well as standard RM parcels
They always have accurate scales, so maybe it would be worth having each parcel weighed, just to make sure all is OK. maybe, if there is then a dispute, your friendly PO staff would be able to back you up.1 -
I’m disabled and use the EVRI collection service but if this isn’t sorted then I’ll,change to Royal Mail,collection.0
-
I’ve tried replying to both the invoice and email with no luck. They just keep coming back to me.0
-
When you say that they just keep coming back to you, do you mean they are returned as undeliverable?
If that's the case then try emailing the CEO's office which is: martijn.delange@evri.com0 -
Yes.
thanks, I’ll try that.
Ive wasted so much of my time on this. I Can see why people just pay up. It’s a type of fraud.0 -
This is what I had.
“Please note this inbox is not monitored, you will not receive a response to your email”
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬0 -
Your correct it is a type of fraud .
Its also means you have received a automated speculative invoice meaning I could send you or anyone a invoice demand.
Dont pay it .
Evri will know exactly that they are playing below the belt.....doing so benefits profits and so will quietly let the so called "automated oversight" continue ...ching ching.
When they were Hermes they got so much bad press on the net etc ......they had to rebrand .
I certainly wouldnt pay them a penny as always weigh and check sizing accurately but do seem to vaguely remember they tryed it on with myself many years ago .
Saying that I never had a issue with any items sent via hermes I do remember ringing them and getting a balance refund of some sort .

The plot thickens.
after receiving two emails saying I will not receive a response to mine, guess what? Last night I had another in reply apologising and saying they are cancelling my invoice.
so they DO read them 🤬1 -
The lack of comms or any reasoning is part of the automated profiteering process so people worry ...and then pay.
Can you imagine how much they make if 10% or a higher percentage of customers just pay up .1 -
