Ebay Collection Only But No Address

If it's a collection item why not just give the house number and postcode after they purchase or after they send a
message asking for the address?
What is the point in not giving out the address? The one I picked up recently had a fair sized area for the postcode
so someone with limited transport or limited time may have had issues collecting. But they could plan collection
easier with number and postcode and maybe even a message like the blue house or opposite something that stands out.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The point in not immediately giving out the full address is the anxiety of not knowing if someone will turn up unexpectedly and be annoyed you aren't in, or you may need to say 'don't come until Wednesday as I will be away' and be concerned about security. The first certainly happened to me when I gave a list of several times I could be in for someone to collect and the address and then didn't hear back to know which I should stay in for. But I am happy to narrow it down to about 30 seconds walk which is enough for anyone planning a journey.
