Hi
I’d like to discuss or make people aware of a letter I received from clear business to my home address.

Clear business has demanded that I pay a refundable deposit for water services. It doesn’t state the actual amount or any explanation what this is for or why it has come about ? No details are given apart from if not paid within 14 days disconnection will be applied for water services. This is a home and I pay council tax to my local council which includes water services and there is no debt.
Has anyone else received something like this and know what to do ?

CBW looks legit - it seems to be restricted to Scotland.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
