These are the documents other threads have requested. Original notice to Keeper Letter of Claim.

What has confused me is the threads all indicate that a Letter of Claim is the final step before a court case what should I do with this Debt letter?

The debt agency traced me to my daughters home who kindly lets me use the address for post whilst travelling.

    Welcome to the forum.

That's nothing more that a debt collector's letter. The clue is '14 days'.
The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.

Mrs. H, you say you have read the threads.

Thank you for replying there are two points regarding my query 1. I had already received a letter of claim which threads suggest next step was court. Yes I did search for similar topics. I also could not find anyone who experienced this order of events. Why are they not proceeding with court etc?

I appreciate how annoying repetitive posts are and that you are all doing this voluntarily, but on my personal search of the site for similar incidences there was a trend peolple answering to OP to post your PCN in your own thread. I did not take screen shots of my observations as I had not realised how contentious this was. One of my own personal difficulties is reading swathes of text as my brain skips words and I then have to keep trying to read it again often losing the thread if particularly wordy which is why I think the parking charge letters are designed so badly they have a knack to disorientate the brain.

But again apologies for ruffling feathers.

The bike registration was left visible as I sold it in 2022.  I am assuming I cannot edit my original post.

  • Are they for the same event/ reference number - one letter suggests they want £160, another £170. Not that they will get either.

    Not that it matters.

Please read the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread. Ignore Trace completely.

Come back here when you get a LBC from a solicitor. But still do not pay. That's all!

Yes it was for 10th April 2021. There are loads of discrepancies. Their letter of claim offered the independent mediation service which when I agreed to use it they told me I was not eligible

You won't be offering money at Mediation stage anyway. It exists but only after a court claim.
