Suggestions for laptop with Microsoft Office

  • Quick favour please.

I have ordered Cisco001's recommended laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15.6" Laptop - AMD Ryzen™ 5, 512GB SSD, 8 GB RAM - Grey) and am having difficulty choosing Microsoft Office software that I hope to load onto the laptop once I receive it.

Please could you recommend/send a link to a decent, inexpensive version of relatively recent standalone Microsoft Office (I will only really be using Word, Powerpoint and Excel) that I could load on to both a Windows 10 and Windows 11 pc.  I do not want to subscribe to any office software.

I am guessing I will need to uninstall Office 365 if this comes with the new laptop before installing this?

    Thank you

I was recommended to use https://softwaresupply.net/ from someone on here - it works fine

    Yes, that's essential

Just setting up my new laptop.

I have uninstalled McAfee and Microsoft Office 365.

I have a digital version of Office 2019 to install but also just noticed a program "Microsoft Office Click-to-Run".  Is it safe to uninstall this before installing Office 2019 or just keep it there?   Is there anything else I should uninstall?   Thank you

    Does that help?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Hmm not sure. The actual program I'm not sure whether to uninstall is "Microsoft Office Click-to-Run (SxS)".
