Suggestions for laptop with Microsoft Office

Do you have any recommendations for a good reasonably priced laptop which has Microsoft Office installed just for everyday general use? Or do laptops not come with Office these days?
I am looking for one brand new, reasonably priced under £300 laptop (not refurbished). I believe 8GB ram is ideal?
Thank you

I believe most laptops (except Mac) come with office 365 which carries a subscription0

Also consider one of the free office suites such as LibraOffice. Thy it before subscribing to MSO.0

Whether getting office 365 by subscription or not, every Microsoft operating system user, when registered with an account, gets to use the free online office suite for FREE.Downloaded office 365 suite ( installed on your computer) is useful if you want to use office when offline ( and I understand has more facilities ). It also costs you a monthly or annual subscription.0

If you want to pay for the annual subscription to Office 365 then you can for both Windows and Mac though the software won't be pre-installed on a Mac. Only some of the fringe apps like Visio and Project dont have a Mac desktop app.
There are plenty of other applications that are compatible with Office that dont require a subscription. You can buy a standalone version of Office that doesn't require a subscription but haven't seen a computer come with it as standard.Fufu3333 said:I believe 8GB ram is ideal?0 -
Another alternative is buy the laptop you want, uninstall office 365 and buy office from gamers-outlet.net where just about any version of office plus license is available for download - just an example pick whatever you want. This is the total cost, no annual subscription - start from less than £3

To be honest, few new £300 models are worth the price. You're better to get a second hand 3-5 year old business laptop instead. More sturdy as well.
As for office, you will often find it installed. But you can get a cheap single pc key from ebay0 -
Office Pro Plus is not available to buy standalone. It's the version that corporations get through volume licensing deals.
So just be aware that if you 'buy' one of these it's very possible that the company who owns the licence will identify that your laptop does not belong to them and ask Microsoft to block it.0 -
Depends on what you want it for.Having looked recently I saw a number of laptops on the Argos website (didn't look elsewhere) and many had a years worth of M Office free then you subscribe. That means that you have all your docs there so you are compelled to keep them by subscribing or loose them.
