  • I got another job interview at 1100 tomorrow. It might go quite well. It might. I guess I will get a job eventually if that's two interviews in a week.
  • Good luck on the job hunt hopefully you get some success soon.

  • I have a third interview at a different company today. I think I might get this one. I believe I will be given the job.

I'm not going to overdo it because I feel the mistake I have been making is doing too much for people because of the domestic abuse I have received from my parents.

I have to walk 3 hours to get to and from the interview. If I get the job, no doubt I'll be on the receiving end of abuse for that as well.

I have my universal credit to pay my service charge and then I need £30 from somewhere to pay my electric bill. Also I need food from somewhere. If my parents stop helping it might have to be a good bank.

  • I have all my bills up to date including my service charge.

My mobile phone bill is on a promise to pay and is in hand.

I have setup a Token Payment Plan for now. £9 per month lol.

My council tax has been reduced, for now, to £30 for the rest of the year.

I just need a job!!! I should find out this week that I'm employed or soon to be employed.

I will come out of this phase of squalor with about £220 mortgage arrears.

When I have a job I'll contact Step Change and setup a DMP instead.

  • Ok I have setup a Token Payment Plan because I have slipped into mortgage arrears. I have about £220 in mortgage arrears.

I also owe some mobile phone bill and electricity bill arrears. I'll have to pay these when I get my first full wage.

Which reminds me: I finally got a job.

I work in a care home now, and I asked for an extra shift just in case I need to slum it with £1 pizzas/ready meals when I'm trying to be financially independent which would be in lieu of asking my parents to help.

I should be financially spick and span after the last working day of March. I might.

When that happens I'll upgrade my TPP to a DMP.

I must admit my resolve has melted away to the point that I'm considering simply paying £120 per month so as to pay my DMP in 10 years.

    Come at me?
  • Well done on getting the job! You must be over the moon.

Keep at it, it's small steps, but steps nonetheless.

I hope you keep looking up :)
