I'd suggest that an air-fryer, washing machine, hob or even a electric car would be the least of your worries, likewise a smart meter.

As Victor2 suggests your smartphones data collecting abilities know more about you than any kitchen appliance. It has microphones to listen and GPS to track you.

It knows where you are, who your contacts are, who you talk to, what you say, where you've been and in a lot of cases has all your banking details as well and you assist it by carrying it around with you all the time.

Not only that, if you've got a smart watch it also knows your heart rate, sleep patterns and blood pressure. All my washing machine know is when it on and what its doing. I doubt it can hear much over the noise it makes, even if it did have a microphone.
