The DVLA doesn't ensure motorists are treated fairly. Once DVLA awarded accreditation to IPC and BPA there's been no further monitoring of IPC/BPA performance and effectiveness as an ATA by the DVLA.
Previous Govt planned to address that.
While Coupon-mad's work on Private Parking Govt Steering Group continues the one thing you can do is help keep the pressure on new Govt by signing/share Stanley Luckhurst's re-issued petition (previous one closed early due to GE)Bring the Parking Code of Practice into law, as per the 2019 Act of Parliament.Petition runs for 6 months closing 6 June 2025.1 -
Ok thanks I will sign and share the petition. I will also ignore it and not pay anything.I am also moving abroad now with work and won’t have a UK address, is there any requirement to update them with my new foreign address- assuming not? I possibly won’t be back for a few years1

Write to the DPO of the PPC, telling them under GDPR to erase the (UK) address they currently hold for you and to replace that with the (overseas) address you now occupy. Send them some evidence of your new address.1pheonix1 said:Ok thanks I will sign and share the petition. You are missing the fact that the address abroad stops the scam entirely! Of course you tell them your new address! This is your 'out'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
